I drew this a while back~ it wasn\'\'t much of a good drawing so I never went and colored it~ And it was during the same time that I gave coloring digitally a second chance, which was when I made this -----> :[link]:

After coloring this, I was like \"WOW!!! Coloring it made it look SOOOOO MUCH BETTERRR!!!!\" ahaha....... Sadly I\'m using STILL using a mouse to color~ so I still haven\'t figured out how I would put some actual whites/ highlights into my illustrations....sad.....lol

AND I\'m trying to not make the skin tones BURNED....lol T_____T\" even though no one is saying anything, it\'s clear enough riiight??!!! ahaha XDD

Wah he's so cute!! I really like the shades you use, even if you think they're weird. It doesn't need to look real, its just your style

my skin tones tend to have that "burn" quality, but I tend to like that. Just keep trying out new things and you'll figure out what works for you!

It's waaay better than going around and just making colorings aimlessly~

yeaaa I've actually edited the skin tone 3 times because my friend said it looked "rashy"......ahaha so I dulled out the red....

XD it also helps to look at other artists work and look at how they do color tones, even try to use the eye drop tool..or whatever its called and explore the tones they use. You'll be surprised what they do : >
